I feel a great affection and even a spiritual affinity with those who photographed Prague and our landscape and tried to capture it before me. I am thrilled by the many perspectives they found, I share their passion and discover our common world. A world that was given to us in time and place, but which we try to grasp in a way that has a chance to last. It is a bond that is valuable and can bring us so close that it is surprising. And again and again, when looking at the works of my predecessors, I realize that only that which has at its core purity, sincerity, and deep, immediate joy has this resistance to time.
