A seemingly banal thing is connected to photographing Prague at the best possible
level – Legs. I am writing them here with a capital L out of respect, they deserve it. A photographer must not only have a good eye and a desire to capture beauty, but they must also have good legs. Legs that must tirelessly walk the same places over and over again, at different times of the year and day. And in this way, get to know the city “from below”. The multitude of shapes of the city, its own variability given by, for example, changing vegetation, the variability of the angles of incidence of the sun's rays throughout the year can never be accurately estimated in advance. Something beautiful can always unexpectedly surface to the surface – a composition of shadows and light and colors that will enchant you. Without faithful and tireless legs, it is impossible to discover it.
